Ashby Scott is a member of the firm's real estate and banking practice group. Her practice encompasses all aspects of acquiring, developing, constructing, leasing, managing and financing commercial real estate developments for national, regional and local property owners, developers as well as financial institutions. She has authored "The Tennessee Uniform Residential Landlord Tenant Act –A Hodge-Podge of Statutory Exclusions", 34 U. Mem. L. Rev. 903 ( Summer, 2004) and Allah v, Al-Hafeez: Section 1997e(e) of the Prison Litigation Reform Act: A Recovery Limitation on Frivolous or Legitimate Claims, 32 U. Mem. L. Rev. 1031 (Summer 2002). Ms. Scott is a member of the Memphis Bar Association.
