Mark Field concentrates his practice in the areas of domestic and international business law, intellectual property, computer and internet law, mergers and acquisitions, and private placement of securities. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and Memphis Bar Association. He currently serves as Chair of the Intellectual Property Section’s Online Security & ePrivacy Committee, and as Co-chair of the International Section’s Information Services, Technology & Data Protection Committee, and is a member of the International Section’s China and Canada Committees, the Intellectual Property Section’s Software Development & Licensing and Database & eCommerce Committees, and the Business Law Section’s State Regulation of Securities Committee. His past experience includes a stint as In-house Counsel to Schering-Plough Corporation from 1984 to 1990. He currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Business Professionals Chapter of Business Network International’s Memphis & North Mississippi Region, and is a past chair of the CLE Committee for the Memphis Bar Association, and of the Private Industry Counsel of Memphis, Shelby County and Fayette County, Tennessee.
