Gennie Gieselmann primarily practices in the areas of employee benefits, tax, estate planning and probate law. Ms. Gieselmann's employee benefits practice focuses on drafting and preparing qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs) but also includes reviewing employee benefit plans, preparation and filing plan documents for IRS favorable determination, drafting summary plan descriptions, and administering and resolving employee benefit issues. She provides tax representation in the areas of estate planning and probate matters, federal, state and local tax issues, civil tax enforcement actions, tax audits, tax appeals, payments in lieu of taxes (PILOTs), and formation of tax-exempt entities.
Ms. Gieselmann also provides general corporate representation, including entity formation, acquisitions, sales, mergers, and dissolutions.
In addition to her tax and corporate practice, Ms. Gieselmann practices trademark and copyright law, including filing trademark and copyright applications.
Ms. Gieselmann is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Memphis Bar Associations.
