Leonard Dunavant concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate, health care, commercial real estate and asset based lending, copyright and trademark law. He is a former examiner for the State Board of Law Examiners. Mr. Dunavant graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1969 with a major in political science, and, in December 1973, he earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University. While an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee, Mr. Dunavant was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, an honorary leadership fraternity. He began practicing law in Memphis in 1974 and has continued in private practice since, except for a two-and-one-half-year period in which he served as general counsel and secretary for Media General Broadcast Services, Inc.
