Michael Williams focuses his practice on real estate and corporate law. His experience in real estate law encompasses zoning matters, residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural transactions, and condominium law. His corporate practice includes the structuring of new companies as well as the purchase and sale of existing companies.

Mr. Williams has lectured in the areas of construction law, condominium and association law and real estate law to members of the legal profession as well as other related professions. Mr. Williams is a director and former chairman of Memphis Development Foundation. He is a past Grand President of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and a member of Lindenwood Christian Church. He served as co-chairman of the Memphis Symphony Ball in 1991 and the Brooks Museum Wine Auction in 1998. He was president of the Memphis Young Lawyers in 1978, vice-president of the Tennessee Bar Association in 1981 and a director of the Memphis Bar Association in 1986-88. He is a member and former president of the Memphis Wine and Food Society and Regent of Commanderie de Bordeaux.
